Identifying Good Writing
Published by JJR,
This is the start of a series on this blog where I find a piece of writing and identify what the writer is doing well. This of course is to help in my own writing and be a sort of self-homework to push myself.

This piece of writing comes from a box of DragonSleeves. Each box has a different story of a dragon on the back.
- The phrase "circling above the canyon like prize-fighters" is a strong description as it establishes setting along with a simile to further develop the two dragons.
- "light shook inwards" is a cool way to describe fire charging up
- "inferno", "collapsing", and "craned" are good words.
Thanks for reading my analysis.
